What you'll learn in this workshop

  • Use of hatching to blend colour and donate shapes
  • Blending yarns to blend colours
  • Efficiency at "meet and separate" method when using various colours
  • Tying double half hitches
  • Finishing edges

Supplied by Presenter

  • Notes
  • Twine for edgings
  • Bobbins, scissors and few clamps
  • A basket of yarns and some clamps

Equipment & Requirements participants must bring

  • A warped tapestry frame to accommodate weaving of 20 by 30cm. Sett of 2 or 3/cm.
  • Three balls of supplementary coloured yarns about 4ply and the plys need to separate smoothly.
  • Note book and three coloured pencils as per yarn colours.
  • Blunt tapestry needle,
