Becoming a member is easy!
Select the type of membership product that suits you best from the four options below.
- If you’re joining between January and June, choose annual and your region.
- If you’re joining between 1 July and December select the 6-month option for your region.
- Add to cart and check out with one of our easy payment options.
- Fill out your membership details on the check out page. We ask only for the essential details and won’t share your personal information with anyone (we’re POPIA compliant and value your privacy).

How must I pay for my membership?
Simply select the membership option from the available products above and check out.
You can pay via any of the payment options on the checkout page.
For membership renewals – you’ll receive an email in December reminding you to renew. Your payment can be done via the website when you’re ready by selecting the annual product and checking out. Our reminder email also includes a handy snapscan code.
I'm a pensioner. Do I get a discount on my membership?
Unfortunately, no. Our membership fees are already very affordable. If we gave pensioners discounts we would be sorely lacking in funds. 🙂
I don't know how to weave. Can I still join?
That’s why you’re here! We have many brilliant weaving teachers who provide lessons on an ongoing basis. They even have looms you can learn to weave on.
Can I buy a membership for myself and a friend?
Yes, you can.
1. Select the membership you want to buy for yourself and a friend.
2. Make sure on the checkout page it says, 2 for quantity.
3. Fill out your details in the membership information on the checkout page.
4. Once you receive your confirmation for order, submit your friend’s details along with your Invoice number to capeguildofweavers@gmail.com so your membership and gift membership can be properly allocated.
