Workshops Archive

The Cape Guild of Weavers lives and breathes for promoting fibre crafts. This means we like to host events and exhibitions often with workshops available as often as or committee can muster the work to do so. Browse past Guild workshops by craft, from the loom and spinning wheel to the dye pot, felting needle and embroidery hoop.

“We all belong to the same beautiful tapestry of existence, and our lives are all woven together to create the magical experience of life. None of us are alone, or solitary, or unimportant- we’re all part of something that is vastly bigger than ourselves but, at the same time, comprises each of our individual energies.”

– Laura Lynne Jackson, Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe
