Weaving on an Inkle Loom opens up a world of possibilities to experienced and novice weavers alike. Inkle Looms weave narrow bands which can be used in a myriad of applications, anything from guitar or bag straps, suspenders to hat bands and textile edging.
What you'll learn in this workshop
- You will learn to warp an Inkle loom using three colours.
- You will learn to weave on the Inkle loom.
- You will be able to control the tension of the warp on your Inkle loom.
- You will learn to read patterns for the Inkle loom.
- You will see different types of Inkle looms.
- You will learn to make heddles for your Inkle loom.

- Cotton yarn
- Shuttles
- A spare Inkle loom on standby
Equipment & requirements participants should bring
- Bring your own Inkle Loom if possible
- A pair of scissors
